Terms of service

These terms govern your use of WorkoutMyFinance (“the service”), operated by Ember Web, United Kingdom. By creating an account you agree to them.
What the service is
A tool for planning your own money: recording income and outgoings, projecting your balance, and tracking budgets, goals, debts and net worth. Optionally it can read balances and transactions from bank accounts you connect. It is for personal, non-commercial use.
What it is not
The service is not financial advice. Projections are arithmetic on the figures you supply and on transactions your bank reports; they can be wrong if those inputs are wrong, and they cannot foresee what your bank has not yet processed. Decisions about your money remain yours. Nothing in the service moves money, makes payments, or changes anything at your bank.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and the person whose finances you record.
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Only connect bank accounts you are entitled to access.
- Do not attempt to probe, overload or interfere with the service.
Bank connections
Bank access is provided through Enable Banking Oy, a regulated Account Information Service Provider, under their terms in addition to these. Access is read-only, is granted by you directly to your bank, lasts up to 90 days at a time, and can be withdrawn by you whenever you like by disconnecting the bank in the app.
Your data
Our privacy notice explains what we hold and why. You own what you enter; you can export it at any time and deleting your account removes it.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it, and we may change or discontinue features. If we make material changes to these terms we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make using the service, from inaccurate data supplied by you or by a bank, or from interruptions outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
